Surrounded by Colorado’s Rocky Mountain community, our residents find both peace and purpose as they take the next step forward in life.
A Supportive Step Toward Independent Living
Recovery involves more than treatment. It’s about rebuilding your life in a structured community that encourages healthy habits, personal growth, and lasting confidence. At Mountain West, our sober living programs bridge the gap between addiction treatment and independent living by offering a safe and supportive environment built on compassion, accountability, and guidance from experienced professionals.
Our approach is grounded in clinical excellence and human connection. Every participant is supported by a multidisciplinary team of licensed and certified professionals and services, including:
BHA-designated recovery services (Behavioral Health Administration)
CARR-certified recovery residences (Colorado Association of Recovery Residences)
Licensed clinicians, including LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) and LAC (Licensed Addiction Counselor)
TJC-accredited quality and safety standards (The Joint Commission)
Veteran-Supported Recovery Certified programs developed by those who have served
QMAP- and MAT-friendly programming
Peer Support Coaches and Peer Navigators with lived experience
Certified professional trainers supporting skill-building and wellness
We also work closely with the Department of Corrections (DOC) and community partners to support individuals involved in the justice system as they transition back into the community. Our team understands the unique challenges DOC-involved clients face, and we are committed to providing structured housing, accountability, and coordination that support compliance, stability, and long-term success.
We believe recovery works best when people are treated with dignity, structure, and respect. Our homes provide the accountability you need while allowing you to grow toward a more independent, confident future.

LAUNCH Program
Our LAUNCH Program is a structured 60-day wellness and personal development program designed to build discipline, confidence, and whole-body healing. Through two intentional phases, LAUNCH helps clients develop the grit, consistency, and resilience needed for long-term recovery and successful transition into Ascent.
Participants benefit from:
-
Two progressive 30-day phases that build strength and consistency:
-
Phase 1 (Days 1–30): Daily morning sessions (8:00–10:00 AM) with a personal trainer and behavioral health aide, combining physical conditioning with mental and emotional wellness support.
-
Phase 2 (Days 31–60): Continued workouts every other morning, while clients begin integrating additional skill-building blocks, including computer lab time, job-readiness training, and targeted life-skills development.
-
-
A holistic, movement-based approach to recovery
-
Physical activity designed to reduce stress, increase focus, and strengthen personal discipline
-
Support in building routines, showing up consistently, and completing challenging task
-
A program philosophy centered on “doing something hard for a high reward,” helping clients experience growth through effort and accountability
-
-
Skill-building and future-focused preparation
-
Job-readiness coaching, résumé support, and soft-skills development

A pathway to independence
LAUNCH bridges the gap between early recovery and the responsibilities of the Ascent Program. Clients graduate with stronger habits, increased confidence, and a deeper belief in their ability to show up for themselves—even when it’s difficult. The results speak for themselves: clients who complete LAUNCH demonstrate greater readiness, motivation, and success as they transition into independent living.
ASCENT Program

Residents continue to receive access to outpatient and formal treatment services, employment support, and ongoing case management. The focus is on life-skills development, personal growth, financial stability, and maintaining long-term sobriety within a structured, substance-free living environment.
Who We Serve and How We Help You Move Forward
Our sober living houses welcome both men and women who are ready to continue their recovery journey with structure, accountability, and community. Every sober home follows the same house rules, expectations, and supportive routines, creating a substance-free environment where all residents feel included, respected, and accountable.
We meet clients where they are, knowing that recovery from substance use disorders is not always a straight path. If relapse occurs, our team helps residents re-engage with substance abuse treatment, reinforce healthy habits, and stay connected to their sober living community.
